Fun fact: this cocktail is named after Mamie Taylor the famous opera singer. The drink was created by a bartender in Rochester, New York (correct me if I'm wrong) at the end of the eighteen hundreds per Mamie's request.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Blended Scotch
  • .5 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 4 oz Chilled ginger ale
  • 1 slice Lemon

Instructions

  1. Fill a highball glass with ice

  2. Pour in the blended scotch and fresh lime juice

  3. Top off the drink with ginger ale and garnish with a lemon slice

  • 1.5 oz Bourbon
  • .25 oz Southern Comfort
  • .25 oz White Creme De Menthe

Instructions

  1. Fill a shaker with ice

  2. Add your ingredients to the shaker and shake vigorously until the shaker has become chilled on the outside

  3. Strain into a cocktail glass and serve

Sweet Manhattan

Sweet Manhattan

The sweet Manhattan has a smoother taste than the perfect or classic Manhattan. The difference is in the choice of whiskey and absence of dry vermouth.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Blended Canadian Whiskey
  • 1 oz Sweet Vermouth
  • 2.5 ml Angostura Bitters
  • 1 twist Lemon Peel

Instructions

  1. Fill a stirring glass with ice turn your hat backward

  2. Add blended Canadian whiskey

  3. Add sweet vermouth

  4. Add Angostura bitters

  5. Stir until the glass becomes frosted and strain into a cocktail glass

  6. Twist the lemon peel above the drink to express its oils and run the peel along the rim of the glass and drop in

  • .5 oz Dry Vermouth

  3. Strain your concoction into an ice-filled collins glass and top with chilled club soda

  4. Garnish with the fruit and you're on your way to blissfully party your face off
